Hi Guys,

Sorry, it’s been so long between posts. I was burnt out after getting the book published, and earning money at the day job took precedence over the past few months, but after a vacation back to Vancouver, Toronto, Orillia and Victoria, and I don’t know why I thought six travel days on vacation was a good idea, I’m hoping to ramp up again.

See, this is why I don’t charge for billinformed.com, I don’t feel right charging when extended breaks are possible. So now I can still say it’s worth the price.

Also, I want to say thank you to everyone who bought my book, Utopia’s Wake: Terms of Survival.  In particular, my friends and family bought copies of the book with no intention of reading it. I know I’ve done the same. The best way to support an aspiring creative is to buy their work.

Again, thank you.

If you haven’t read Utopia’s Wake, one of the creative choices I made was that, rather than write out a full backstory of how the USA fell under the rule of vicious tech oligarchs, I told the backstory through Archival Documents.

The first parts of the books consist of government memos and reports, television and YouTube transcripts, and personal diaries.

Some people liked it, others not so much, but I wanted to share portions of the archives in the book as an excerpt on Billinformed.com to give those of you who haven’t purchased the book a better idea of what they’re buying.

So, I don’t run afoul of Amazon and Jeff Bezos, I need to have the excerpt behind a non-paywall, so your email will do.

Here’s a link to buy Utopia’s Wake: Terms of Survival on Amazon

PS – I’m looking at ways to economically create an audiobook. I’d read it, but I wouldn’t want to subject anyone to my reading aloud for 15 hours.

PPS – I’m already planning a follow-up; I’m still in the planning and plotting phase. So, if you’re wondering if I’m a plotter or a pantser, I’m a plotter to the extreme.  The idea is to create a prequel of sorts set in the same universe but years earlier, and it will work as a standalone novel, but if you’ve already read the first book, there will be easter eggs and foreshadowing.

Cheers,

Bill
